HISTORY
In 1969, Dennis Swartz established BMS as a small X-ray apron repair operation. As the industry grew, Burlington began to manufacture its own aprons, and recognized the need for custom fitting. A wider range of sizes for both women and men, along with custom sizing and custom embroidery, made BMS a leader in the industry. Our product offerings have continued to expand and include a full line of accessories. BMS strives for innovation and focuses our efforts on developing the lightest, most comfortable aprons available. As the market evolves, so do our efforts to provide you the best products available!
BMS is ISO 9001 certified in order to maintain an effective manufacturing process that will get the highest quality products to you in most efficient manner possible. We are also CE certified, which allows us to offer our products and services in the European market.

Prices
Prices are FOB Factory unless otherwise specified. Terms and prices are subject to change without notice.
Returns
Custom aprons, table pads, barriers, grids, prescription glasses, and other customized accessories are sold on a non-cancelable, non-returnable basis. Seller reserves the right to refuse to issue credit on any returned merchandise. All returned merchandise must be in resalable condition. Returned merchandise will not be accepted without a return material authorization number (RMA). To request an RMA, contact our office at (800) 221-3466. Requests to return merchandise must be made within 30 days of invoice/shipment and may be subject to a 25% restocking charge. We do NOT accept packages shipped C.O.D.
Sale Merchandise
All sale merchandise (marked on the website with SALE as the product code) is sold on a non-returnable basis with no warranty coverage.
Taxes*
Your order may be subject to local sales tax, depending on the state to which the item is being shipped. We are required to charge sales tax in all states that we have a physical presence in.
PLEASE NOTE: The sales tax indicated on the checkout form and website-generated invoice is an estimate. The actual sales tax ultimately charged to your credit card will reflect all applicable state and local taxes and will be stated on the invoice that ships with your product(s).
Disclaimer
It is the sole responsibility of the buyer to determine proper application and use of radiation and laser safety products sold by Burlington Medical Supplies. Under no circumstances shall Burlington Medical Supplies be liable for any damages arising out of the use, inability to use or incorrect use of our products.
Protection Levels
Although we manufacture and assist with fitting, Burlington Medical Supplies is unable to advise customers as to the radiation protection levels for their individual needs. This information should be obtained from a Radiation Safety Officer or other appropriate government agency.
Warranty
Seller warrants, for two years, that its products will be free of material defects in workmanship and protective materials. Seller’s obligation is hereby limited exclusively to the repair or replacement of any defective products. This warranty does not cover damage as a result of abuse, abrasion, or failure to follow care and use instructions. Specifications shown were in effect at the time of printing, and are subject to change without notice. Seller hereby disclaims all other warranties, either expressed or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability. There are no warranties which extend beyond the description on the face hereof.
